Recuerdo, cuando, una profesora de la facultad de Historia del Arte, nos dijo sin titubeos: que nadie os engañe, el ser humano tiene la capacidad de entender el arte hasta el siglo XIX, de ahí en adelante, son horas de duro trabajo y mucha pasión. Y no le faltaba razón.

El arte emergente, de hoy en día, es un fiel reflejo de nuestra sociedad globalizada, y con el tiempo, las múltiples expresiones artísticas se convertirán en un documento indispensable para el estudio social, histórico, político, económico y estético de nuestro mundo.

Ambas ideas son vertebradoras en la producción de un joven artista brasileño, André Feliciano. Por un lado, el artista se pregunta, si una persona cultivada es alguien interesado en el arte, ¿por qué el arte mismo no puede ser cultivado también?

André Feliciano entiende el arte emergente como la semilla que el artista cultiva en un vasto campo, que debe cuidarse y vigilar el nacimiento de sus primeros brotes. Pero, según postula André Feliciano esto no sucederá hasta dentro de tres siglos cuando germine el arte de hoy en día y se hable entonces de arte floreciente.

En este periodo pre-floreciente André Feliciano siembra un arte de probeta, cultiva tulipanes, lirios, girasoles y rosas entre otras, pero no son flores al uso son pequeñas cámaras de fotos polinizadas de imágenes que captan instantes vivos que se almacenarán como riego necesario para hacer brotar el arte Floreciente.

El arte Floreciente es un injerto entre la primavera y el Renacimiento, una mezcla de tiempos de la naturaleza y la historia del arte, el arte esta vivo y forma parte de la vida de todos y cada uno de nosotros.

A young Brazilian artist, called André Feliciano, works with both these ideas. On one hand, the artist asks, if a grown person is someone interested in art, why art itself also can not be cultivated? André Feliciano understands emerging art as an artist who seed grown in a field which should take care and oversee the birth of their first shoots. But, according to André Feliciano, It will not start to germinate in the coming three centuries when the art of today will be able flourhish and then we will be able talk about flourishing art. In this time, André Feliciano grows tulips, lilies, sunflowers and roses among other, but not to use flowers, he uses small cameras pollinated of images which are captured in special moments. All photos will be irrigation in order to bring out burgeoning art. The Flourishing Art is a graft between the spring and Renaissance times a mixture of nature and the history of art, art is alive and will be part of the life of each and every one of us.
